Here She Go......

Smh.....This makes us want a Diet Coke & a roller set REEEAALLLYYY bad!!! lol

FYI: Back in the day, that's actually how they "rolled" their hair.

Separated at Birth??

Seems like Ciara is channeling Janet Jackson with a little bit of Michael. This look is very relaxed and cute. Her hair is very 80s Janet. The rings too. We like it. The question is......Whats going on with your music? You dropped Fantasy Ride.....**Blank Stare** We see you still perform here and over seas. Now you're a model for ADIDAS. We miss your music Ciara!! Take it back to the GOODIES days!! I guess for now we'll just marvel over your laid back uber-fab style.

Here's the BUZZ-MUSIC

FEFE DOBSON RETURNS WITH JOY, ALBUM SET FOR MAY 4th RELEASE ON 21 MUSIC / ISLAND RECORDS

"I WANT YOU" FIRST NEW SINGLE -ON STARZ CABLE CHANNEL
IMPACTS AT POP RADIO ON MARCH 2ND

Fefe Dobson picked for VH1's You Oughta Know program

(February 25, 2010 - New York, NY) FEFE DOBSON has completed her new album, JOY, scheduled for May release on 21 Music / Island Records. JOY follows-up Fefe Dobson, her self-titled debut, which generated JUNO Award nominations for Best Pop Album and Best New Artist. In advance of JOY, the first single "I Want You" will impact at pop radio on March 2nd (the digital song available now). In addition, Fefe Dobson has been picked for VH1's You Oughta Know program kicking off April 5th.

"I Want You" was heard in the trailers for Drew Barrymore's roller derby directorial debut, Whip It, and is currently being heard on STARZ promos over the next three months. "I Want You" has also been heard on television in The Vampire Diaries, and in promos for VH1's Megan Wants a Millionaire. The song was also included - in Simlish version, of course - on EA's 6-million selling SIMS 3 World Adventures videogame. Another song from JOY, "Watch Me Move" was recently featured on American Idol's final 24 episode, heard on promos for CW's America's Next Top Model, the theme of VH1's The Cho Show (starring Margaret Cho), and NBC's Lipstick Jungle. "Watch Me Move" digital song will be released on March 19th.

The videos for "I Want You" and "Watch Me Move" - as well as FEFE's mashup mix of "I Want You To Watch Me Move" - were all added last year on MTV, MTV2, mtvU, MTV Hits, MTV.com, VH1.com, The N Network, and Logo. Excerpts of "I Want You" and "Watch Me Move" are posted on http://www.myspace.com/fefedobson, which boasts over 4.1 million total plays, and over 1.7 million profile views.

FEFE DOBSON's #1 Billboard Heat seekers debut album contained the back-to-back Top 40 Mainstream singles "Take Me Away" (an MTV TRL, MTV2, and MTV.com hit in '03) and "Everything" (in '04). In addition to "Everything" (heard in the CW's One Tree Hill, and The Perfect Score movie soundtrack), other songs by Fefe surfaced in movie sound tracks for Raising Helen ("If You Walk Away") and It's a Boy Girl Thing ("Be Strong"), as well as FOX-TV promos for Fringe ("Paranoia").

FEFE is a prolific writer whose songs have included Miley Cyrus' single ("Start All Over" on Hannah Montana 2) and has been covered over the years by a variety of artists including Jordin Sparks ("Don't Let It Go to Your Head" on Battlefield), and Selena Gomez ("As A Blonde" on Kiss & Tell). In addition, the highly photogenic Fefe enjoys a sideline career as a spokes person, and has been photographed for dozens of magazine features. Among her credits, she was seen in the popular "Got Milk?" ads, and Tommy Hilfiger campaigns.

2010 Winter Olympics

2010 Winter Olympics
Davis Starts Slow, but Ready for Fast Finish

By AFRO Staff www.afro.com
(February 14, 2010) - Superstar speed skater Shani Davis finished his first event in the 2010 Winter Olympics with a 12th place time of 6 minutes and 28.44 seconds during the 5,000 meter race, finishing one place behind fellow America Chad Hendrick.
But neither Davis or Hendrick were disappointed with their low placing as both Americans have trained and prepared more for the shorter, sprinting races, and have plenty of confidence they will bring home medals to the USA.
"I did go out there and did my best," Davis told the media. "I'm really ready to get on with the rest of the competition."
Davis, 27, who became the first African American to capture an individual Winter Games medal when he won gold in the 1,000 and silver at 1,500 during the 2008 games, will race in the short 500 meter on Monday, Feb. 15. He's the easy favorite to capture medals in the 1,000 and 1,500, again.
"Having the 5,000 first helps break the ice for the other races to come," Davis told the media. "I'm looking forward to the challenges."

New Product Alert!!!

Pump up styling options with the very versatile CHI CeramicVolumizer ¾’ Volumizing Iron from Farouk Systems, makers of defrizzing favorite BioSilk Silk Therapy. The red hot iron creates volume, curls and more with its unique design.

The CHI Ceramic Volumizer ¾” Volumizing Iron has a convex top plate and concave bottom plate to create silky shiny hair with instant volume. The curved plates contain the latest in CHI 44 Ceramic Technology. The exclusive Farouk Systems ceramic compound produces moist heat for consistent temperatures, deeper heat penetration, and improves moisture and shine while eliminating static and frizz. Thoughtfully designed, the outer ridges keep hair smooth and separated for flicks and creating barrel curls. The Volumizing Iron heats quickly and has a swivel cord to make styling hassle free.

CHI VOLUMIZING IRON How to:
ROOT VOLUME Root lift for a smooth, full finished style
Apply CHI Magnified Volume Spray Foam to roots. Place CHI Volumizing Iron at the root area and gently lift and rotate. Keeping the iron closed, gently pull out and down through remaining hair section for a smooth finish.

BARREL CURLS Long lasting bouncy, soft barrel curls
Spray sectioned hair with CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray. Place CHI Volumizing Iron about 1 inch from root area; keeping the plates apart, wrap the section of hair around the rounded plate. Once the entire section is wrapped around, close the iron and hold for 5 seconds and release.

FINGER WAVES Fast and easy classic finger waves
First take a section of hair, spray with CHI Shine Infusion Thermal Polishing Spray and quickly run iron through to create a panel. At the top of the section, press down into hair with the CHI Volumizing Iron. After pressing, lift the section slightly upwards to create a strong bend in the hair. Next turn the iron in the opposite direction and press, pulling the section slightly downwards. Continue to work in this pattern through to the ends of the panel. Result is classic, easy, shiny finger waves.

THE FLICK Flip for a new styling option
Spray hair with CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray. Take a section of hair and place CHIVolumizer with rounded edge toward face and close. Gently pull the iron out towards the ends of the hair.

Look At You...LOOKIN LIKE YOU LOOKIN

If this is what working for Diddy does to you. I'm gonna have to pass. For those of you who don't recognize this young lady here's a hint. She's been singing background for all the artist on Bad Boy Records for over 10 years. She once had a hit single. Check the video below.

That's right ladies and gentlemen. That is Cheri Dennis. What in the world is going on with her?? Get it together ma'am.

GRAMMY HAIR!!!

Last night people all over the world watched the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. The show was amazing!! There were great performances like Lady GaGa & Elton John, Beyonce, Michael Jackson Tribute with Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood & Celine Dion, Jamie Foxx & T-Pain, Lil Wayne, Drake & Eminem. Prior to all this excitement inside, we had our eyes glued to the screen for the red carpet. While the dresses were stunning, we were focused on the HAIR.

Ashanti took her punk rock mohawk and made it just as glamorous as her dress. Good job! Beyonce was working her usual honey blonde lace front wig with a side part. She did jazz it up with strands of glitter mixed in (we peeped that). Ciara did a boring lace front center part with a pony tail, YAWN. India.Aire looked naturally beautiful with her goddess twists. Jennifer Hudson super straight Chinese bang & ponytail was different. Don't hate it or love it **Kanye Shrug** Keri Hilson looked amazing!! Head to toe!!! She gets the highest award for her overall look!! MJB rocked her usual. New artist Melanie Fiona took her long tresses and put them in a sweet & simple side bun. Very appropriate for the event. Former PussyCat Doll Melody Thorton looked great. She kept it simple with a sleek ponytail. Mya let her hair down & dyed it light brown. We Liked it. Comedian Neicy Nash used her "BUMP IT" to create her look. She was going for an Old Hollywood look...**blank stare** Rihanna looked hot-like-fire with her flipped up do'.
There were many other hairstyles on the Red Carpet, these were just some of our favs. Tell us what you think about what we said and also let us know how you feel. Check the pics below.
PS. Shout out 2 Cocoamane for repping at the Grammys. She was the stylist for Maxwell's camp!! GO GIRL!!!

What The FUR??

Across the pond its Paris Fashion Week. Many celebrities are in Paris to get a glimpse of haute couture fashions and trends for the upcoming season. Celebrities such as Chris Brown, Ciara, Kanye West & Amber Rose have all been spotted @ the fashion shows. Speaking of Kanye & Amber (KAMBER), PETA is pissed @ them. They have been wearing A LOT of fur while in Paris. A LOT. PETA is known for throwing RED PAINT or powder on fur wearers. Kamber better watch out or up their dodging skills. Take a look @ some flicks of them below. Tell us if you think its overkill on the fur wearing.
