Across the pond its Paris Fashion Week. Many celebrities are in Paris to get a glimpse of haute couture fashions and trends for the upcoming season. Celebrities such as Chris Brown, Ciara, Kanye West & Amber Rose have all been spotted @ the fashion shows. Speaking of Kanye & Amber (KAMBER), PETA is pissed @ them. They have been wearing A LOT of fur while in Paris. A LOT. PETA is known for throwing RED PAINT or powder on fur wearers. Kamber better watch out or up their dodging skills. Interview with Xanthia

Clickonbeauty.com is excited to present to you our NEW interview series. We will be looking for young professionals who are trying new things in the hair & beauty world. It could be hair styling, make up artistry, searching & providing information on hair or beauty products, etc. Our first interview is with a blogger by the name of Xanthia Cunningham. Her blog Chocolate Candy Box is a great place to learn about taking care of your hair. She researches all things pertaining to healthy hair. After gaining quite a bit of knowledge she decided to change from having relaxed hair to being natural. Everything she learned or did, she put in her blog. Rihanna's Redemption

Rihanna channels the late Bob Marley and shows her support for Haiti. The song is titled "Redemption Song" and she speaks about hope & never giving up. She is set to perform the song on Oprah today. Also on the show a live feature from Wyclef Jean called, Just Back from Haiti. The feature will put into perspective the things that Wyclef saw while on a short visit to Haiti after the Earthquake. Hair Trends for 2010

We are 19 days into the new year and off to a great start. There were some interesting hair styles in 2009. Some we loved, some we disliked.... a lot. Now that its 2010 we cannot wait to see what hair trends are going to explode. Some of the hair style trend setters include Rihanna, Taraji P. Henson, Ciara, Halle Berry, and Beyonce. We've seen these ladies go through a multitude of hair style changes in 2009. Currently Rihanna is rocking a blonde Mohawk, leaving the sides her natural hair color. Very interesting change for her. We're so used to seeing her with jet black hair. Taraji P. Henson brought back the bob. Her hair is sleek & sexy. Ciara has been changing her hair quite frequently. She's had everything from cornrows to long sleek waves. In 2009 Halle Berry when back to her Oh-so-sexy super short do' that everyone loves. Beyonce kept her signature hair color but added curls. She switched between corkscrew curls and big barrel curls.
So far these ladies have inspired us to change our hair & take risks. In the comments section below let us know which hair style you like the best or which style will be the big trend in 2010.

R.I.P.

R&B Legend Teddy Pendergrass passed at the age of 59 in Philadelphia yesterday from colon cancer. His son stated that he had battled the disease for the past 8 months. For the past 28 years, Teddy Pendergrass has been wheelchair bound because of a near fatal car accident in 1982. Before the crash, Pendergrass established a new era of R&B with an explosive, raw voice that symbolized masculinity, passion and the joys and sorrow of romance in songs such as “Close the Door,” “It Don’t Hurt Now,” “Love T.K.O.” and other hits that have since become classics. For those of you who don't know Teddy Pendergrass aka Teddy P, please do some research. And no he is not T-Pain!!
Rest in Peace....

7.0 Earthquake Rocks Haiti

Yesterday, January 12, 2009, Haiti experienced a 7.0 earthquake. On the Richter Scale a 7.0 is classified as MAJOR. The Haitian government estimates thousand are dead and injured. Haitian Icon & American super star, Wyclef Jean, has always reminded us about the devistation of the living conditions in Haiti (prior to this earthquake). Now he is calling on everyone who CAN & WILL help his native country. In a statement to Global Grind he says,

I cannot stress enough what a human disaster this is, and idle hands will only make this tragedy worse. The over 2 million people in Port-au-Prince tonight face catastrophe alone. We must act now!

Wyclef is asking the public to donate through a text message campaign organized through his Yele foundation, established to assist his Haiti homeland. Wyclef says five-dollars will be automatically donated to the Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund through those who use their cell phones to text “Yele” to 501501. The public can also visit www.Yele.org to make a donation. There were several strong aftershocks. President Obama has pledged U.S. assistance to Haiti. You can also call 1-888-407-4747 to find info about friends or family members in Haiti.

Kandi Signs With Asylum

From multi-platinum albums to Grammy Award winning songs to a top rated and 2010 NAACP nominated TV show: KANDI BURRUSS, formerly of platinum-selling R&B group Xscape and presently a cast member of the hit TV show The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), has signed a deal with Asylum Records through her label, Kandi Koated Entertainment, to release her yet untitled new full length CD this spring.

Straight From The Horse's Mouth

We have just received an OFFICIAL STATEMENT from the one and only Keyshia Cole. Lately there have been rumors and speculation about her relationship with her mother Frankie & sister Neffie. Keyshia decided that its time to set the record straight. Here's what she had to say.

To all my friends and fans - It's time that I clear the air. It's not a secret that I haven't been in contact with my mother Frankie, and my sisters Neffie and Elite and I never wanted to air out our differences to the public. While I won't go into detail here I find it necessary to let you guys know I decided to stop communication with them because I was at a point in my life where I needed serenity and peace to move forward. Please know I love my family very much but it was time to let it go. You guys are a witness to a lot of what was happening from watching on air and online. Now that I am becoming a mom my passion for having a loving and peaceful home for my child is my #1 priority. It's very important to both Daniel and I. My plate is very full; I have a new baby coming, we are planning our wedding and I am working in the studio on a new album that I am close to completing. The stress that my family is giving me with their constant false reports is not healthy and it's not what I need at this time in my life. Please understand that there are only a few people that can officially confirm or deny anything that's happening in my life and that's me, Daniel, and my publicist, Tresa Sanders. And my girl Monica never lies.
